Partners in Bleeding Disorders Education Program Launches Revised Module
The Partners in Bleeding Disorders Education Program has announced the launch a new version of “Understanding Hemophilia,” a six-part online learning activity for clinicians who practice at federally recognized U.S. hemophilia treatment centers (HTCs). Clinical staff who complete the accredited activity will gain knowledge and develop expertise on hemophilia, including pathogenesis and inheritance, symptoms and sequelae, management with factor concentrates and emicizumab, inhibitor development and management, and carrier considerations. The module is appropriate for nonclinical staff as well. Individuals who completed an earlier version of this module are welcome to complete it again and to receive credit for doing so.
