Ways to Give

Without amazing supporters like you, there is no way children could attend camp, families could receive emergency financial support, and so much more. You help children and adults of all ages with bleeding disorders avoid fear, isolation, and a future of unnecessary hardship.

Matching Gifts and Workplace Giving Campaigns

To find out whether your employer offers matching gift benefits or participates in workplace giving campaigns, ask your human resources representative.

Matching Gifts from Your Employer

Many companies offer matching gift programs to encourage employees to contribute to charitable organizations. Some provide matching funds to support employee volunteer hours. Most of these programs match contributions dollar for dollar, and some will even double or triple the amount of your gift. Your employer can advise you on their process for these gifts.

Workplace Giving Campaigns

Giving at work is the original crowdfunding. It lets you give a consistent amount per paycheck and allows you to support what matters most to you.

Workplace campaigns are usually held in the fall (September-December). A number of larger employers conduct their own charitable giving campaigns, such as YourCause, with opportunities for regular payroll deductions that are paid out quarterly to your designated charity.

United Way/Community Health Charities

GLHF is an authorized recipient of contributions to Community Health Charities of Wisconsin, which is included as part of the annual United Way Campaign. Look for the section that lists designated agencies on the United Way/Community Health Charities form from your employer. If you need help finding this area, talk to the campaign coordinator at your workplace. Enter our code — 28413 — to direct your gift to GLHF. We will receive a portion of the amount you designate to us, with approximately 18-20% retained for their administrative fees.

Leave a Gift in your Will

What you leave behind is not what is engraved in stone monuments, but what is woven into the lives of others.

When you leave a bequest in your will, your generosity continues to create a world where families managing bleeding disorders can live with fewer limitations. Your bequest assists us in providing relevant educational programs, financial support and to advocate for reasonable consideration at school, work, in business matters and more.

You can give gifts of cash, stock and other assets. Contact us regarding specific gift acceptance guidelines. Please let us know if you designate a gift to GLHF. We would like to honor your ultimate expression of commitment to helping others.
