Milwaukee Adds Virtual Field Trip Portal and a Virtual Weatherization Day – Including Free Weatherization & Grab and Go Bags on Halloween!

Virtual Field Trip Planning

Planning field trips has been a challenge with COVID-19. Milwaukee cultural institutions have launched a virtual field trip portal to enhance learning opportunities through virtual field trips. The MKE Virtual Field Trip Portal currently features visits to Betty Brinn Children’s Museum, Discovery World, the Milwaukee Art Museum, the Milwaukee Public Museum and the Zoological Society of Milwaukee.

Virtual Weatherization Day

Milwaukee County’s Virtual Weatherization Day is this Friday, Oct. 30. This free online event will feature a virtual resource fair, informational videos, a special message from Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley and an afternoon Facebook Live event. Learn more about Milwaukee County’s Energy Assistance Program and the weatherization benefits you are eligible for when you qualify.

On Saturday, Oct. 31, pick up a free weatherization kit at the Grab & Go events from 10 a.m. to Noon at 4906 W. Fond du Lac Ave (east parking lot) or 2701 S. Chase St. (main parking lot).
