GLHF Celebrated for Supporting Research
At the 2025 Chapter Leadership Summit (CLS), the National Bleeding Disorders Foundation (NBDF) celebrated the generosity of chapter contributions to research. For over fifty years, NBDF has been funding research through the Judith Graham Pool (JGP) Fellowship. This prestigious grant funding supports early researchers in basic science. This award is fully funded by the community through donations from chapters, endowments, and private donors. Through the generosity of the community, NBDF has been able to fund 111 JGP Fellows with over $9.7 million dollars!
NBDF shared their new platform: Altum, Proposal Central, that allows them to accept, review, and award applicants all through a digital portal. They are currently finalizing entering the historical awards and exploring opportunities to share the impact reporting with the community. This will outline what kind of research was funded, and what impact it has had on how people living with bleeding disorders receive care.
Thank you for helping us support research, and the advancement of care for our community! Our chapter received a recognition award of 14 accumulative years donating to this program! Together, we are making a difference. Thank you!
