Bryce’s Brave Bunch Finds Community at Unite Walk!
The Unite for Bleeding Disorders Walk is Saturday, September 26 at the Milwaukee County Zoo. This is Bryce’s Brave Bunch’s 2nd year participating in the Walk, reminding them that as they build a strong support system in the bleeding disorders community, they are not alone. Bryce’s Brave Bunch walks in honor of Bryce, who is 3 years old and has Severe Hemophilia A:

Why is it important for you to Walk?
It’s important for us to participate in the walk to show support for our son, Bryce, as well as other people in the bleeding disorder community; build and strengthen connections with others in the community; increase awareness of bleeding disorders; and to help raise money for advocacy, research, education and family support programs.
What do you like most about the Walk?
The thing I love most about the walk is connecting with other people and families who are impacted by a bleeding disorder. Last year I had the pleasure of meeting and talking with a mom and her teenage son (who also has severe hemophilia A). They shared their real-life experiences, gave advice, answered all of my questions and willingly shared their contact information. I left feeling so grateful for the connection – and with a new sense of reassurance and hope about what the future holds for Bryce and his diagnosis. I hope I can do the same thing for a newly diagnosed family someday!
Do you think the Walk brings people together for a common cause?
Absolutely! We are proud to be part of the bleeding disorders community and come together to advocate for the community and have some fun at the zoo!
Join us September 26 in our original picnic area at the Zoo Terrace. Registration is open today! Register yourself and your team as soon as possible! All of your favorite attractions will be back, including some great prizes for people or teams who raise $250 or more! Click here for information.
