“We Must Resist Confusing Re-opening With Returning to Normalcy”
Three major health organizations published a letter on July 6th urging Americans to wear masks in public. The American Medical Association, American Hospital Association, and the American Nurses Association, in response to the surge of new cases of COVID-19, asked the public to wear masks and engage in social distancing. “We are not powerless in this public health crisis, and we can defeat it …by allowing science and evidence to shape our decisions and inform our actions.”
