Susan Skinner Memorial Fund Scholarship Program is Open
that the call for applications for the Susan Skinner Memorial Fund (SSMF) Scholarship program is now open! Please spread the word among all women’s advocates within your network to encourage them to apply to this prestigious scholarship program.
The SSMF scholarship program empowers women advocates who actively work towards improving the care and support for women and girls with bleeding disorders. Scholarship recipients will be granted a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to attend the WFH 2024 World Congress in April next year, including the Global National Member Organization (NMO) Training and the WFH General Assembly (GA). Congress brings leading experts, healthcare professionals, advocates, representatives from the industry, and other partner organizations worldwide together in one place, offering participants an unparalleled opportunity for networking, knowledge exchange, and self-empowerment.
We’ve attached a brochure in English and Spanish with additional information about the scholarship program to help your promotional efforts. Please share it with your network to help us reach as many potential applicants as possible.

The fund commemorates the late Susan Skinner, an American woman determined to ensure the availability of safe and effective treatment for her two sons. The WFH USA is deeply grateful to Thomas Skinner, who created the fund, family members and friends, and organizations in the bleeding disorder community who continue to support the fund.
