Milwaukee’s Best Bloody Brings Together Bars, Clients and Greater Milwaukee to Support the Bleeding Disorders Community
DRINK LOCAL. GIVE LOCAL.
When GLHF started Milwaukee’s Best Bloody eight years ago, we were looking for a fresh way to raise critical funds and awareness about bleeding disorders. Although we knew the event had the potential to be successful, we didn’t anticipate the overwhelming support we would receive from the community – support that has continued every year. Milwaukee’s Best Bloody is now considered Wisconsin’s premier Bloody Mary tasting contest.
This year, we sold tickets to more than 700 Bloody Mary connoisseurs, raised more than $50,000 and hosted 11 area bars and restaurants competing for the title of Milwaukee’s Best Bloody.
“The community of southeastern Wisconsin has truly embraced Milwaukee’s Best Bloody,” said Danielle Leitner Baxter, GLHF’s Executive Director. “GLHF has introduced people of all backgrounds to the bleeding disorders community. As our event attendance has increased from 250 in its first year, so has our ability to educate the public about bleeding disorders and the importance of supporting and advocating for our community.”
Thank you to all of our participating bars, restaurants and donors! Your participation and generosity is greatly appreciated!
