Learn About Clinical Issues in Women with Bleeding Disorders
The National Bleeding Disorders Foundation (NBDF) is pleased to announce a series of educational videos on clinical issues in women, girls, and people with the propensity to menstruate (WGPPM). They were created for physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and other clinicians who treat patients with bleeding disorders, including von Willebrand disease (VWD), hemophilia A or hemophilia B. We are sharing this information for those individuals who may have missed our earlier announcement.
The series tackles four key areas of diagnostic testing and management concerns of clinicians who encounter heavy menstrual bleeding. They were first presented live/virtual educational activities in the Collaborative Learning Exchange (CLE) program.
Featured topics include VWD Diagnostic Testing Challenges for WGPPM; Provider and Patient Communications for Shared Decision-Making when Providing Healthcare for WGPPM; VWD Treatment Across the Lifespan for WGPPM; Clinical Challenges in the Management of Pregnancy and Delivery in WGPPM.
Visit the CLE homepage to watch these easily accessible videos and be sure to leave your invaluable feedback by answering a brief survey.
