HFA’S COVID-19 RELIEF FUND

As COVID-19 threatens the livelihood of families across the U.S. who are part of the bleeding disorders community, the need for a national resource to apply for and receive emergency financial assistance is paramount. In response, the Hemophilia Federation of America (HFA) has created the HFA COVID-19 Relief Fund as a restricted fund within the Helping Hands program.

The HFA is providing financial relief for members of the bleeding disorders community who are grappling with a significant loss of income due to COVID-19 and have urgent need. The fund will provide emergency financial assistance for payment toward one essential household bill such as a mortgage, rent, water, electricity, phone, or car payment. Please read all information before submitting a referral. Please be patient. The HFA is doing everything they can as they try to process a high volume of referrals during this unprecedented time. It may take up to 14 days for applicants to receive a call.

Visit the HFA’s website for more information about this program.
