Greater Los Angeles Wildfires: Community Support
Our hearts are with everyone affected by the devastating wildfires sweeping through Greater Los Angeles. The National Bleeding Disorders Foundation (NBDF) is actively working with local chapter leaders to support our community during this crisis. They have compiled vital emergency resources, including chapter contacts, county services, transportation assistance, and shelter information. This resource list will be updated regularly as new information becomes available.
Hemophilia Foundation of Southern California Chapter Resources:
The Hemophilia Foundation of Southern California is the leading resource for those affected by bleeding disorders in Southern California. They focus on improving the quality of life and building community for those living with inherited bleeding disorders in Southern California. HFSC serves 9 counties: Kern, Los Angeles, Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Inyo.

• Lyft Disaster Response: Offering two rides up to $25 each ($50 total) for 15,000 riders until 1/15 at 11:59 p.m.
• Uber Disaster Response: As of 1/11/25, Uber is providing rides to designated shelters, up to $40 per trip for anyone who needs assistance getting to a safe place.
