GLHF Celebrated 50 Years at Our Community Picnic October 13!
GLHF brought the community together to celebrate progress! And most importantly to celebrate YOU! On October 13 we met up at Camp Klotty Pine in Campbellsport, WI for a community day.
We started out the day with Gut Monkey – who facilitated the Pathfinders Program to kick off the day. We rock climbed and had smores by the fire, games, arts, food and, crafts and more. “I love being outside,” said one participant. “It just makes me feel better. And doing things outside with other people and families who struggle with the same things is so much fun!”
People connected with nature on a hike (or just relaxed outdoors) in the beautiful Kettle Morraine Forest. We also had an afternoon picnic and family activities including smores at the indoor fireplace, and rock climbing!
GLHF has been serving the bleeding disorders community for 50 years in Wisconsin! It has been our honor to educate, support, and advocate for the bleeding disorders community. Life with a bleeding disorder can come with many obstacles and struggles and we are grateful for the trust, support, and relationships we have built with hundreds of families throughout this time as you have welcomed us into your lives.
