Free Educational Videos on the use of Novel Non-Factor Therapies
The National Bleeding Disorders Foundation (NBDF) is pleased to announce the availability of a series of educational videos on the use of novel non-factor therapies. These videos were designed for clinicians who regularly prescribe therapies for people with hemophilia A and B. We are sharing this information for those individuals who may have missed our earlier announcement.
These presentations were originally delivered as live activities in the Emerging Clinical Issues in Novel Treatment Modalities educational series, within the Collaborative Learning Exchange (CLE) program.
The four-part series is focused on clinical issues relevant to non-factor products and emerging novel therapies still in development. Topics include Understanding Mechanisms of Action and Utility of Novel Treatments for Hemophilia A and B; Shared Decision-Making in the Age of Novel Technologies for Hemophilia; Managing Complex Cases with Novel Non-Factor Therapies; Navigating Reimbursement for Patients on Non-Factor Therapy.
Visit the series homepage to watch these easily accessible videos and please be sure to leave your invaluable feedback by answering a brief survey.
These provider education trainings were supported by Cooperative Agreement Number (NU01DD000006), funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Its contents are solely the responsibility of the authors and do not necessarily represent the official views of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention or the Department of Health and Human Services.
Please note:
- The CLE program was first launched under NBDF’s former name, the National Hemophilia Foundation (NHF).
- These activities are no longer available for continuing medical education credit.
