First-Ever Recommendations Call for Routine Iron Screening in People with Bleeding Disorders

A new MASAC recommendation states that all people with an inheritable bleeding disorder, regardless of sex, age, or bleeding disorder severity, be routinely screened for iron deficiency and anemia.
