New tool calculates COVID-19 risk of events attendance

The COVID-19 Event Risk Assessment Planning Tool, developed by a Georgia Institute of Technology professor, allows you to calculate the risk of exposure to COVID-19 by attending an event, such as Thanksgiving or Christmas gatherings. Use this tool to calculate the severity of risk of exposure to COVID-19 by entering the number of people who will be in attendance at an event and the county in which the event will take place. Consider donating blood today. There is an urgent need for COVID convalescent plasma and blood donations. If you are fully recovered from COVID-19, you may be able to help coronavirus patients in need by donating COVID convalescent plasma (CCP). Milwaukee County Mortgage Assistance Program

The Milwaukee County Housing Division is partnering with Housing Resources, Inc. to provide mortgage assistance through CARES Act funding to eligible homeowners facing mortgage delinquency or foreclosure due to financial hardships as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Applications are being accepted now through Dec. 18, 2020. Homeowners can apply through a web-based application at https://www.hri-wi.org/mortgage-assistance.
