Camp Klotty Pine – Where Kids Can Be Kids
August 2–7 | Cambellsport, WI
For many families in the bleeding disorders community, summer camp can feel complicated. Questions about safety, treatment schedules, and independence often come before thoughts of campfires and canoe trips. That’s why Camp Klotty Pine is so special.
From August 2–7, children ages 7–15 living with bleeding disorders will gather in the beautiful Kettle Moraine State Forest for a week that is about so much more than outdoor adventure. It’s about belonging. It’s about confidence. It’s about discovering, sometimes for the first time, that they are not alone.
At Camp Klotty Pine, campers spend their days swimming, hiking, canoeing, laughing around campfires, and making memories under the stars. Surrounded by supportive counselors, medical staff, and mentors who understand their unique needs, kids are free to focus on what matters most, being kids.
Something powerful also happens during camp. Campers form friendships with others who truly understand what it’s like to live with a bleeding disorder. They see older campers confidently managing their care. They learn, step by step, how to take ownership of their own health, whether that means beginning self-infusion training or strengthening the skills they already have. With each small milestone comes a bigger sense of independence.
Parents often tell us that their child comes home different, more confident, more capable, and proud of who they are.
If your child is ready for an overnight camp experience in a safe, and understanding environment, we would love to welcome them this summer.
