Camp Klotty Pine – A Transformative Week for Children with a Bleeding Disorder

From August 3-8, campers from across Wisconsin gathered at Camp Klotty Pine in Campbellsport for a week filled with friendship, fun and learning. This year, more than 50 campers, Leaders-in-Training (LITs) and bleeding disorders community counselors came together for what can only be described as a magical week.

Camp is more than just games and activities — it’s a place where courage, strength, resilience and independence shine. Campers enjoyed an unforgettable week of fun, building the confidence and skills needed to manage their bleeding disorder for a lifetime.

As one camper shared, “Camp is my favorite part of the summer! Everyone is so supportive and kind. Honestly, they are the kindest people I’ve ever met.”

The days were packed with adventure and creativity. From days at the lake, arts and crafts, science, and theater – to archery, climbing, campfire cooking, and campouts – every moment was an opportunity to try something new and grow stronger together. Campers also bonded around evening campfires, creating memories and friendships that will last far beyond summer.

Camp Klotty Pine proves that when kids come together in a safe, supportive, and empowering environment, magic happens. Learn more about Camp Klotty Pine.
