Boundless B Podcast: The Trail of AIDS
Dana Kuhn’s legendary story moves from private devastation to investigative public accountability. After losing his wife to AIDS when Dana unknowingly contracted HIV through contaminated blood products, Dana began uncovering internal documents that warned about blood safety earlier than families were told. What began as a career in counseling work for a hospital, quietly transformed into a major investigation that rippled down from Washington DC to individual patients. Through Freedom of Information Act requests, stacks of CDC memos, and collaboration with activists and lawmakers, Dana built what became known as “The Trail of AIDS.”
