Join us at Camp Klotty Pine, August 3-8
Camp Klotty Pine offers more than just a traditional summer camp experience. It’s a place where children gain confidence, independence and form lifelong friendships and memories. With activities like swimming, canoeing, hiking, and outdoor skills development, campers have the chance to experience the beauty of nature while building resilience.
Camp Klotty Pine empowers children in ways that last a lifetime. It’s a supportive environment where kids learn about self-care and self-infusion, skills that are vital for managing their bleeding disorder. Camp fosters a sense of encouragement, mentoring, and education that helps children take their first steps towards independently managing their own health care.
Nestled in the scenic Kettle Moraine State Forest in Campbellsport, Wisconsin, Camp Klotty Pine is surrounded by hundreds of wooded acres and sits next to the peaceful Milwaukee River. The natural surroundings provide the perfect backdrop for a camp experience that is both adventurous and therapeutic.
Camp Klotty Pine is designed for:
- Children ages 7-15 living with a bleeding disorder
- Children ready for an overnight, independent camp experience
- Children who want to connect with others in the bleeding disorders community
- Children who are eager to learn about and begin their journey of self-care and self-infusion
Registration opens March 1. Don’t miss the opportunity to give your child the experience of a lifetime! For information, contact Karin Koppen, Director of Camp Klotty Pine, at kkoppen@glhf.org or visit glhf.org/camp.
