Bleeding Disorders and Covid-19 Webinar, April 9: Facts and Risks for People with Bleeding Disorders
On Thursday, April 9th, at 10:00 am EST, the World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH) will host a 60-minute webinar for the bleeding disorders community to help answer questions and address concerns related to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic caused by SARS-CoV-2.
The webinar will provide the community with up-to-date information on COVID-19 and how this virus may affect our patient population, including the risks associated with COVID-19; the measures people with hemophilia (PWH) can take to protect themselves; treatment of COVID-19 for patients with hemophilia; and aspects of COVID-19 that are unique to hemophilia. A Q&A session will be part of the webinar.
Anyone who wishes to submit questions for the Q&A is encouraged to do so by emailing the WFH no later than April 7th at research@wfh.org. Participants can also type live questions directly into the Zoom question and answer box and our experts will try their best—time permitting—to answer.
