WI Legislative Days
No matter where you are in your bleeding disorders journey, we need you to share your story and explain to our elected officials what it is like to live with a bleeding disorder. Make your voice heard at GLHF’s Wisconsin Legislative Days Tuesday, March 23 and Wednesday, March 24.
There are important issues being discussed in Madison that affect the the bleeding disorders community of Wisconsin. And if not you, then who?
Legislative Day Training
Monday, March 22 at 6:30 pm via Zoom.
During this 30-minute training, we’ll help you craft your story and teach you about the current issues affecting the bleeding disorders community.
Meet with your Representatives via Zoom
March 23 or 24, 10AM-12PM or 1PM-3PM
Next, you, fellow advocates, and a GLHF staff member will meet with your elected officials for 15-30 minutes each. You’ll share your experiences navigating life with a bleeding disorder, and we’ll discuss how they can support the bleeding disorders community through their decision and policy making.
GLHF will schedule meetings with your representatives based on the availability submitted in the registration form. An email confirmation with your meeting schedule and login information will be sent beforehand.
